Pawel Malinowski

Pawel Malinowski received his MSc degree in electronics and telecommunications (thesis on design of radiation-tolerant integrated circuits) from the Lodz University of Technology, Poland, in 2006. In 2011, he gained his PhD in electrical engineering from the KU Leuven, Belgium (thesis on III-nitride-based imagers for space applications).

Since 2011, he has worked as a senior researcher and later program manager in the Sensor and Actuator Technologies Department at imec. His research activities have included emerging photodetectors and image sensors, and high-resolution OLED displays. Pawel has authored or coauthored more than 80 publications. He was a recipient of the International Display Workshops Best Paper Award in 2014 and SID Display Week 2018 Distinguished Paper.
